Liz Palmer, D.M.A., has over 10 years of K-12 music teaching and curriculum writing experience. Most recently Liz was an instrumental music teacher and curriculum writer in Prince George’s County, Maryland before transitioning into her role as a Residential College Coordinator (RCC) at University of Southern California. Her research focuses on social and cultural capital, social justice, and culturally relevant/responsive pedagogies. Dr. Liz is a 2020 Teachers Pay Teachers Teach for Justice grant recipient and a member of the Anti-Racist Educators of the Arts Learning Lab (A-REALL) Alpha Cohort member.
